Experience the enduring spirit of the American West at a free screening of Wyoming PBS’s award-winning documentary, CALL OF THE WEST, on Tuesday, Oct. 6, in Cody.

The evening begins at the Dude Ranch Museum with refreshments and a final opportunity to see "The Wrangle: 100 Years of Dude Ranching." Then, head across the street to the Cody Theatre for the film.

Recently honored with a national Public Media Award, CALL OF THE WEST explores the legacy and future of the American dude ranch. Filmed at working ranches across Wyoming, Montana, Colorado and Arizona, the documentary follows families preserving Western traditions while navigating economic pressures, modernization and generational change.

The Dude Ranchers’ Association will also offer door prize giveaways at the screening in celebration of its centennial.
