ABOUT THE MUSICAL:
The Wizard of Oz is a musical based on the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz and L. Frank Baum's 1900 novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. The adaptation is by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Jeremy Sams. The musical uses almost all of the Harold Arlen and E.Y. Harburg songs from the film and includes new songs and additional music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and additional lyrics by Tim Rice. Music: Andrew Lloyd Webber | Lyrics: Glenn Slater | Book: Julian Fellowes
The story follows Dorothy, a young girl from Kansas, who is swept away by a tornado to the magical land of Oz. Along with her dog Toto, she befriends the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion, all seeking help from the Wizard of Oz to return home and fulfill their desires. The group faces challenges from the Wicked Witch of the West and her flying monkeys, ultimately discovering the power of courage, kindness, and finding "home" within themselves.
I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore...
One of the world’s most beloved musicals.
Featuring the iconic original score from the Oscar-winning MGM film including, Over The Rainbow, Follow The Yellow Brick Road and We’re Off To See The Wizard with additional songs from Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, this spectacular production will be a magical experience for all the family.
Join Dorothy, Toto and friends on an unforgettable adventure as they are swept over the rainbow to the merry old land of Oz.
